Broadway Virtual was founded by Emmy, Olivier, and six-time Tony Award-winning producer Jim Kierstead, founder of Kierstead Productions, Inc. Bringing over 30 years of experience in information technology together with over 20 years of experience developing and producing work for the stage, film, and television, Broadway Virtual's mission is to help artists continue developing their work, whether the eventual goal is the live stage, film, streaming, or a combination of all three.
Broadway Virtual understands the vital role that not-for-profit theatre plays in our community and in the development process. We are dedicated to creating content for streaming and to helping sustain the critical role not-for-profits play in our landscape, while promoting equitable participation in theatre and all forms of entertainment.

Broadway Virtual creates all types of content for streaming, along with the filming and capture of theatrical performances, so your work can reach audiences wherever they are.
From awards shows and galas to benefits, concerts, and conferences, we produce virtual and hybrid events from capture sessions through the finished stream.
If you are an artist or a not-for-profit theatre, please be in touch. Part of our mission is to help you use the latest technologies to keep developing your work, and to create content that helps not-for-profit theatres stay connected with their subscribers and audiences.
Broadway Virtual leads clients through digital production with technical precision and the creation and execution of creative elements. By integrating decades of information technology experience with decades of theatrical production experience, giving us a unique understanding of both sides of the process, we bring a distinctive blend of digital know-how. The result is an efficient, rewarding, and collaborative experience for the leadership of the organizations we work with, whether that's one person or a whole team.
Founder & Executive Producer Jim Kierstead leads the execution of all logistics concerning the streaming platform, labor, and equipment procurement. Broadway Virtual is a content creator with established partnerships with leading digital platforms and closed-caption services. We are committed to diversity and inclusion, and we raise it in every creative discussion so that it stays at the forefront of the planning process, encouraging our clients to think globally about the people in and out of the room.
